She was born February 6, 1986 to Harry and Sharon Hatcher of Hickory, North Carolina.
She never married but was in the process of moving to Australia to be with the love of her life! She attended and graduated from Cosmetology School. She skated across the country and lived her dream in sunny California for many years, never afraid and always looking to explore.
Sarah had a love of life! She had a personality as vibrant as colored pallets she chose for her hair! She really loved people and animals and she always stole the hearts of our 4 legged babies and spoiled them rotten....
Anyone who knew or met her not only thought her southern accent was adorable but the personality matched that accent. She seemed to make friends with anyone she met! She was a gem of a human. I know she was loved by many!
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Fred and Pauline Hatcher (Hickory, NC) and Rose Little (Hickory, NC).
She is survived in death by her parents Sharon Hatcher, Newton, NC and Harry Hatcher Sr (Hickory, NC); brothers: Harry Hatcher Jr (Maiden, NC) and Fred Hatcher (Hickory, NC); sisters: Pauline Hatcher (Cypress, CA) and Abby Hatcher (Hickory, NC); and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 17, 2019 in the chapel at Bass-Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. Greg Hames officiating. Sarah will be laid to rest at Brookford City Cemetery directly following the service. The family will have a gathering of life in remembrance of Sarah at Brookford Community building after burial.
