Virginia Beach - Hercules Kapos, 58, passed July 7, 2016 at his home in Virginia Beach.

Hercules was born January 26, 1958 in Patras, Greece. He proudly served the Greek community as Vice President of the Kefalonian Society.

He was philosophical, witty, and free-spirited. He loved the St. Louis Cardinals, his alma mater UVA, the open road, his homeland and above all else, his family.

Hercules is survived by his parents, Pete and Helen Kapos; his children, Christopher (34) and Hollie (33) Kapos; his brother, George Kapos (46); and his grandson, Tyson Koren (2).

A Trisagion service will be conducted today at 6:00 pm at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., 2002 Laskin Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23454. The funeral service will be conducted Monday, July 11 at 11:00 am at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 7220 Granby St, Norfolk, VA 23505 by Rev. Fr. George Bessinas and Rev. Fr. Constantine P.
