Graveside services for David Ruffin Boyett, 56, of Neches were held in Neches Cemetery with Lester Singleton officiating.
He was a construction engineer and had recently established Boyett Construction Company.
A graduate of Southern Methodist University, he was a lieutenant and served as a pilot in the Army Air Corps during WWII.
Survivors include his wife, Robby Odessa Boyett; two sons, David L. Boyett of Dallas and Michael Boyett of Austin; a daughter, Miss Pamela Boyett of Neches; father, Ruffin A. Boyett of Dallas and a sister, Mrs. Edith Howson.
