Milton - Theresa Paszek "Terri" Murphy, 83, died on December 23, 2018 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Florida, after an extended illness.
Terri was born on December 22, 1935, to John Paszek and Stella Sakowicz. She lived in Connecticut for the majority of her life and later retired to Florida. She began her career as an X-ray technician and advanced to her final position at the University of Connecticut's Medical Center as a director in the radiology department.
Terri led by example and will be remembered for her strength, tenacity, spirit, love and compassion to people and animals.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Murphy; niece, Noreen Morrone; nephew, Bill Paszek; and two stepchildren, Lisa Smith and John Murphy.
Lewis Funeral Home of Milton has been entrusted with arrangements. A Memorial Celebration will be held at a later date.
