"Family Life in South Australia Fifty Three Years Ago" (1978) by Jane Isabella Watts (sister of Edward), p. 70-71

Regarding Edward:

The pretty baby died and was laid beside his brother in the Kingscote churchyard.

The morning after his death the other children were taken into the room to see him as he lay in his coffin, to all appearance like some piece of exquisitely sculptured marble; his beautifully chiseled features no longer distorted with pain, but calm and white, and still for evermore. They kissed the cold, pale cheek of their little brother for the last time, and were told they would never see him again in this world, for he had gone to be with the angels in Heaven. And so "like a summer-cloud which appeareth for a little time, and then fadeth away", did the first of Mr A's Australian born children pass out of sight to fairer regions beyond their ken.
