Elizabeth arrived in South Australia on the EMMA on 5 Oct 1836 with her parents, Joseph Lyne and Rebecca nee Page. Her sister Winifred was also on board. The ship arrived at Snake Point (Reeves Pont) Kangaroo Island. This family were some of the original settlers to the new colony of South Australia. The family remained on Kangaroo Island until 1839, when they moved to the mainland.
