Andrew (A.D.) Wells departed this life unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 in Faber, VA. He was born September 24, 1945 to the Late Massie H. Wells & Mary Sue Wells.
He is preceded in death by his infant son Andrew David Wells, two brothers Massie, Jr. and Samuel Wells.
Andrew attended Nelson Memorial High School. He worked for Martin Roofing Company and later in life started his own business Wells Roofing Company
Andrew joined Mt. Airy Baptist Church at an early age where he served as Custodian, Trustee, and Deacon for many years.
He is survived by his wife Betty, Three sons, Kevin (Vicki) of Virginia Beach, Billy (Yvette) of Faber, VA and Keith (Nikol), Port St. Lucie, FL. One daughter, Andrea Barnes (Jeff) of Richmond, VA. 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. One sister Alice Vest (James) of North Garden, VA and 3 sister in-laws. One Aunt Iver Lee Holmes, Jersey City, NY and a host of Nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Mount Airy Baptist Church, Faber, VA. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
