Cynthia Ann Martin was born on February 7, 1953 in Owatonna, MN., the daughter of Jim and Erliss (Anderson) Grass. She attended and graduated from the Owatonna School System. She graduated from the University of Minnesota where she was a proud member of the Lambda Delta Phi. Cindy was the Extension Agent for Goodhue, Olmsted and Rice counties. She was united in marriage to LaVerne (Marty) Martin on June 9, 1984 in Faribault, MN. Cindy worked along side her husband on their farm where they raised registered Suffolk Sheep. She enjoyed reading, card games, fishing and visiting with her family and many friends. Cindy was a member of First Lutheran Church and some of the organizations that Marty belonged to including the Sheep and Pork Producers Associations.

Cindy is survived by her father, Jim Grass, brothers and sisters-in-law Buz (Cea) Grass, Julie Grass, Kim Glover and Pete Grass. Nephew, Jake (Lindsay) Grass and their children Madeline, Kaylee, Jeremiah and Lydia. Niece Mandi (Andy) Resler and their children Blake and Creedence and many cousins.

Cindy was preceded in death by her mother, Erliss Grass and husband LaVerne (Marty) Martin
