Obituary for Mr. Larry Arnold Booker
Larry Arnold Booker, 65, of Morgantown and formerly of Columbus passed from this life on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at 8:13 P.M. at Morgantown Health Care.
Born on June 6, 1953 in Columbus the son of Warren E. and Flora Beatrice Scott Booker.
Mr. Booker was a United States Army veteran. He was a member of Second Baptist Church and the American Legion. He enjoyed playing cards and reading books.
Survivors include his daughters, Jessica Thomas of Columbus and Toi Morris of Seymour; several grandchildren including, Jayvon Thomas, Aamani Gregory, and Ava Gregory; Siblings, Jimmy Booker, Earl (Carol) Booker, Henry Booker, and Elizabeth Booker; Sister-in-law, Deborah Booker; Nieces and nephews, Lia Dawn Booker, Inger Patrice Russell, Uriah Thomas Booker, Shawn Allen Booker, Alexia Ann Seniours, Nathan Warren Booker, Julia Booker, and Akeem Booker; several great nieces and nephews and a host of cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Lorraina Faith Thomas; siblings, Marilyn Booker, Richard Booker, Penny Booker, and William Booker; Granddaughter, BriAna Thomas; and a nephew, Jason Booker.
Funeral services will be at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Rev. Larry F. Rowe.
Burial will follow at Garland Brook Cemetery with full military honors conducted by the Bartholomew County Honor Guard.
