Jerry Vest, 63, of Princeton, died Wednesday, March 13, 2019. Born February 15, 1956 at Bluefield, he was the son of the late Roy Vest and Doris Prichard Vest.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Michael Vest; and half-sister, Helen Perkins.

Survivors include daughter, Amy Beth Vest and husband Shailesh Patel of Chicago, IL; granddaughter, Abigail Shailesh Vest Patel of Chicago, IL; nephews, Alan Vest and wife Alicia of Matoaka, Jason Vest and wife Shelly of Princeton, Shannon Vest of Princeton and Steve Perkins of Princeton; nieces, Elaine Flinchum of Princeton and Karla Taylor of Princeton; special friends, Kathy Wyrick, Tommy Wyrick, Billy Linkous, Eric Thompson, Berlon Roberts, Benny Thompson, Scott Burks, Fairley Burks, Marsha Sparks, Clyde Seal and Paulette and Danny McKnight; and special dog, Daisy Mae.

A memorial service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Ralph Calfee officiating. Interment will be in the Elgood Cemetery.
