Adams, Clarence Elmore, 85, of Henrico County, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 12, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Larkin and Hattie Adams. He is survived by his daughter, Deborah “Debbie” Woodroffe (Skip); grandchildren, Sherry Keaton (Jeff), Jeffery Keaton, Donnie Dinsmore, Chelsea Dinsmore, Jill Smith (Calvert), Joshua Smith,Skip Woodreffe III (Kim), Jacob and Jaiden; brothers, Aubrey Adams (Joyce), Thomas Adams; sisters, Phyllis Hastings (Jack), Shirley Riggleman, Diane Batkins (Bubba): and many nieces and nephews. He retired from Inta-Roto Machine Company, served in the Air National Guard in Sandston, Virginia. He was a longtime member of Landmark Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 17, 2019, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 South Laburnum Avenue, Henrico, Virginia 23231. The service will be held Monday, March 18, 2019, at 2 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, followed by burial in Washington Memorial Park, 6217 Memorial Drive, Sandston, Virginia 23150.
