Carl graduated from Polytechnic High School in 1959, Abilene Christian University in 1963, and University of North Texas in 1967. He married in 1967. In 1993 he started teaching Math at TCC until retiring in 2011. He is survived by his wife, daughter, son, their spouses, brother and his wife, an aunt, 3 nieces, their children; several cousins, and lifelong friends.
