Sandra (Wood) Jenkins, 74, passed away on March 12, 2019. Loving wife of the late Orman Jenkins. Beloved by family and the community as an incredible wife, sister, and aunt. Sandra is survived by her nephews Denny Wood and his wife Tammy and their children Brad and Brooke, Peter Wood Jr. and his wife Michelle, Leon Wood and his wife Michele, and Rick Wood. Nieces, Denise Wood and Lisa Bapst and her husband Rick. Great nephews, Matthew Wood and his children, Logan and Sophie Wood, the late John "Jake" Wood, Kris Creighton-Wood and Rick Creighton-Wood. Great nieces, Patty Wood and her son Gavin, Tana Wood, Christina "Tina" Wood and her son Colby Wood, Lylah Mazzilli, Kassondra Creighton-Wood, Michaela Wood and Crichelle Wood. She was pre-deceased by her parents, the late Leon Bradford Wood and Frances (Dries) Wood. She is also survived by her brother Leon Bradford Jr. and his wife Kathy, sister Michelle Almeida and her husband Paul, and the late Peter L. Wood Sr.
Sandra loved to travel; she visited every state and stayed in Aruba annually. She also enjoyed theatre and golf. She began as a secretary for Battelle Labs and worked her way up to accountant, working for the company for over 30 years. She also frequently volunteered at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth. She loved having her house open to family and taking care of all the children over the years. She will be dearly missed by her friends and family.
