Dorothy T. Spencer (nee Campbell) passed away peacefully on Wednesday March 13, 2019 following a short illness at the age of 96.

Born in Hoboken on June 25, 1922 to John and Marie Campbell, she was one of ten children. Married to Frank Spencer (predeceased) in 1946 they shared 62 wonderful years. They lived their early years together in Hoboken until moving to Union Beach in 1955 where they resided the remainder of their lives.

She was a homemaker and worked as the customer service supervisor at the former Bradlees Department Store. She was an active member of both the Holy Family and Union Beach Senior Citizen groups and enjoyed the lottery and spending time with friends at Atlantic City casinos.

Survived by her two sons Richard of Union Beach, and William and His wife Grace from Old Bridge. There are five grandchildren, William and his wife Robin, Kelly, Robert, William Jr. and his wife Brittney, and Brian, also two great grandchildren, Mikayla and Ryan. Surviving also are two brothers, three sister in-laws and many nieces and nephews. She was a loving parent, grandmother, and great grandmother to all of us. She cared deeply for each and every member of her family and cherished the many friendships she had through the years. She will sadly be missed by all, and forever in our hearts.

Funeral Services will be conducted by Day Funeral Home of Keyport, with a visitation at the funeral home on a day to be announced from 4-8PM and on a date to be announced at the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Church of Union Beach.
