Dwight "Stanley" Jones, age 70, of Talking Rock passed away Monday, March 11, 2019 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital, Jasper.

Stanley is survived by his Son: Dwight Stanley Jones, Jr. Siblings: Anthony, Kenneth, Mae, Charles, Mark and Angie, Angie Burgess and Jim, Lynn Nogradi, Tim, Ronnie, Machielle Pinson and Mark. Sister-in-Law: Faye Jones. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles also survive.

Mr. Jones is preceded in death by his Daughter: Geneva Eloisa Jones. Parents: J.F. and Geneva Jones and brother Randy Jones.

Stanley proudly served in the U.S. Army for 20 years. He was then employed by Rosedale Transport where he also retired.

The family will receive friends Thursday, March 14 from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM and Friday, March 15 from 8:00 AM until the funeral hour.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, March 15, 2019 in the Cagle Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment will be in the Georgia National Cemetery with full military rites immediately following the funeral services.

The family is accepting flowers or donation to Cagle Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
