Thomas Joe Shelton, 87 of Florissant, MO., died Monday, March 11, 2019 at Delmar Gardens North in Florissant, MO. He was born July 17, 1931 in Bristow, OK. The son of the late William and Lena Shelton (nee Barnes).

Loving father and father-in-law of Janet (David) Camarota and Jeffrey (Amy) Shelton. Loving grandfather of eight. Loving great-grandfather of six.

Thomas was preceded in death by his loving wife Helen Janet Shelton (nee Corn). His loving parents William and Lena. His loving son Tommy Shelton. His brothers William Lee Shelton and Jack Eugene Shelton.

He proudly served in the Air Force from 1950 through 1961, achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant. He was a member of Florissant Valley Christian Church.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 2:00 P.M at Florissant Valley Christian Church.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Thomas’ memory may make memorial contributions to the Florissant Valley Christian Church Memorial Fund. 1325 N. Highway 67, Florissant, Missouri 63031.
