Memorial services for Betty Stanfield are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 17, 2019 at Owens Memorial Chapel in Ruston with Mr. Don Litton officiating. Services are under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.
Betty was born August 17, 1941 and went home to our Lord on March 13, 2019 after an extremely long battle with cancer. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Elsie Lee Wilks and William Dave Knight; five younger siblings: Billy Wayne Knight , Bertha Lois Knight Glover, Margaret Lucile Knight, William Ray Knight and Linda Marie Knight Giles and a child, Jimmy Dorris Head.
Betty is survived by four children: Patricia Briley-Granger, Grayce Stanfield, Gladys Stevens, Leonard Stanfield; three brothers: Roy Knight, Jerry Wilks and Donnie Wilks; one sister, Evelyn Moore; eight grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and an endless amount of friends. Betty is going to be missed greatly. Go with God.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until service time, Sunday, at Owens Memorial Chapel.
