Funeral services for Frances Elta (Warren) Ross will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2019 in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, with Reverend Brent Dix officiating.
Interment will follow in Alexandria Memorial Gardens, Woodworth, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.
Mrs. Frances Elta Warren Ross, 92, of Alexandria, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, Alexandria, LA.
She was born on October 18, 1926, in Hunt County Texas. She was a seamstress by trade and worked for many years at Puckett's Mattress Company in Alexandria, before starting her own business, Ross Slipcovers and Drapes. She was a member of Twin Bridges Baptist Church in Alexandria and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her .
She is preceded in death by her husband, James David Ross; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Warren; one brother, William Harrison Warren; one sister, Ruby Marriot and infant great granddaughter, Kierstyn Hockersmith (Find A Grave Memorial # 73534582)
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include three sons, David Earl Ross and his wife, Tina, of Woodworth, Hubert Alton Ross and his wife, Ramona, of Woodworth and Benjamin William Ross and his fiance', Nancy Wilmore, of Alexandria; two daughters, Elizabeth Ann Whittenberg and her husband, Edward, of Alexandria and Lauretta Frances Murphy and her husband, Alan, of Huxley, TX.; thirteen grandchildren, Mary Mancil, Angela Hightower, David Whittenberg, Christy Redfern, David Warren Ross, Frances Mouton, Hubert Stephen Ross, Elizabeth Ann Ross, Jessica Murphy, Lindsay Murphy, Ashley Ross, Jade Ross and Banjamin Slayter Ross; twenty-two great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren and countless other family and friends.
Friends may call at Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, on Thursday, March 14, 2019 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Friday, March 15, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. until time of service.
