She was born in Waycross and lived most of her life there. She was a waitress for many years.
Mrs. Rowland was a daughter of the late John Henry Moore and Myra Ann Crews Moore.
She is survived by her husband, William Rowland, Sr. of Waycross; two sons, William Rowland, Jr. (Amber) of Waycross and John Lewis Rowland (Brandi) of Hoboken; four grandchildren, Jonathan Rowland, Candice Rowland, Jake Rowland, and Ava Rowland; four step-sisters, Kathy Roberts, Peggy Beasley, Caroline Moody, and Annette Glenn; and two step-brothers, Joey Sapp and Jerry Sapp.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday (March 15, 2019) at Indian Mound Baptist Church Cemetery in Millwood.
