A 2:00 p.m. memorial service will be held on Friday, March 8, 2019, at Mayodan Moravian Church with Rev. Judith Justice officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Moravian Graveyard in Mayodan. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the church beginning at 1:00 p.m. and all other times at the home of his aunt, Patricia Martin.
A native of Rockingham County, Marshall was born on April 8, 1950, to the late Marshall and Pansy Kirkman Martin. He was a loving and caring man. Marshall loved gardening, cooking, and animals.
Marshall is survived by his wife, Mandy Gillikin Martin of the home; his daughter, Christian Nicole Martin of Greensboro; his step-daughter, Hunter Sky Gillikin of Madison; three sisters, Susan Martin Morrissett and husband John of Greensboro, Louanne Martin Edwards and husband Larry of Trinity, and Rebecca Martin Fulp of Mayodan; and two grandchildren, Bailey Christopher Alley and Ashland Taylor Alley.
