Donald E. Culp, 84, of Wapwallopen died Sunday morning, March 10, 2019, in Residential Hospice, Geisinger South, Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Shickshinny, March 8, 1935, he was the son of the late Walter and Caroline Titus Culp, and was a graduate of Shickshinny High School.

Donald served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Korean War.

He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Hobbie, and was employed by Eberhard Faber prior to retirement. Don was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was an avid Penn State and Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two grandsons: Arthur and Alexander White; brothers: Eugene, Richard and Delbert Culp; and sisters: Kathryn Slusser, Betty Linton, Millie Davis and Shirley Culp.

Donald is survived by his wife, Ruth M. Readler Culp; son, Brent Culp and his wife, Susan, of Wapwallopen; daughter, Diane White and her husband, Greg, of Forksville; grandson, Brandon Culp; sisters, Patty McGraw of Beach Haven, Nancy Mayers of Allentown; and nieces and nephews.

In lieu of funeral services, a memorial service is being planned by the family at a later date.
