RHODES; Jeffrey “ Jay” Lyles Rhodes, at the age of 32, died Saturday August 30, 2003 at the home of his brother. He was born October 17, 1970 in Greenville, NC; and was the son of Stephen C. Rhodes, Sr. and the late Sheila P. (McDonald) Rhodes. Mr. Rhodes was Vice President of The Ice Box Company in Myrtle Beach, SC; and a graduate of Myrtle Beach High School. Survivors include his father, Stephen C. Rhodes, Sr. of North Myrtle Beach, SC; his wife, Andrea M. Rhodes and daughter, Kaleigh Madison Rhodes, both of Myrtle Beach, SC; and Jacksonville, FL, two brothers, Stephen Carl Rhodes, Jr. and his wife Pamela, Charles Michael Rhodes and his special friend Hava, a sister, Susan Elizabeth Mitchell and her husband Anthony all of Myrtle Beach, SC; and paternal grandmother, Francis Rhodes of Florence, SC. Funeral services will be 11 AM Tuesday September 2, 2003 at McMillan- Small Funeral Home in Myrtle Beach, SC with Rev. Beaver Greenway officiating.
