Carol Anne Goodwin, 74, passed away October 27, 2018 at the Robin Johnson Hospice House, Dallas. Carol was born in the Bronx, NY, spending most of her life in Rome, NY and Charlotte, NC. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Paul and Mary Anne Stecknowitz Behler. In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husband, John Arthur Goodwin, III, and a brother, Joseph Andrew Behler.
Carol was a member of Queen of the Apostles Roman Catholic Church, Belmont.
Survivors include her sons, John A. Goodwin, IV and wife Patty, Dr. Joseph H. Goodwin, James Goodwin, Jason R. Goodwin and wife Amanda; brother, Robert Frank Behler and wife Naomi; grandchildren, John Goodwin, V, Phillip, Emily, Lucas, Tucker, Hannah, Brooklyn, Gavin, Dakota, Mercedes, and Savannah, and great grandchildren, Aubrey, Ryder, Chloe, Bailey, Alania, Hunter, Lily, Ava, Knox, and Quinn.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:30 pm, Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at McLean Funeral Directors of Belmont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1:00 pm, Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Queen of the Apostles Roman Catholic Church with Father Frank Cancro officiating. Inurnment will be private for the family.
