Mr. Ronnie Lee Gray, age 70, of Tallapoosa, GA, passed away March 11, 2019.

He was born May 4, 1948, in Bremen, GA, to the late J.W. and Mildred Wilson Gray.

Ronnie was an active member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. He enjoyed gardening, riding in his Jeep with his dog, fishing, and going to the beach. Most of all, he loved to spend time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Maxine Downey Gray; two daughters and sons-in-law, Stephanie and Michael Redding, of Temple, GA, and Torey Gray and Steve Hulsey, of Bremen, GA; a granddaughter, Cecilie Redding, of Temple; and a brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Betty Gray, of Bremen.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 14, 2019 at 2:00PM at Emmanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Barry Taylor officiating. Abby Taylor and Jeff Brooks will be providing music.

Gentlemen serving as pallbearers will be Richard Williams, Steve McCash, Tim Morgan, Bill Boazman, Ronnie Brown, and Steve Crocker.

Honorary pallbearers will be Richard “Rip” Abney and Winford Swofford.

Interment will follow in Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 12:00 to 2:00PM.
