Pamela Starr "Pam" Franklin passed away March 6, 2019 at her home in Batesville, MS. She was the wife of Paul Franklin.

Pam was born April 21, 1949 to the late Sherman V. Wardlaw and Hazel Christine Morgan Wardlaw in Sardis, MS. Pam was a member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church. Pam enjoyed taking care of her family during her lifetime and visiting with people at Franklin’s Grocery. She found delight in working around the farm. She liked flowers and cooking big meals for the family. Pam always enjoyed the holidays. She loved to camp and tailgating at Ole Miss Football games. She adored her furry friends.

The adoring family she leaves behind to cherish her loving memory include her husband, Paul Franklin of Batesville; her children, Kim Franklin Delancey (Benjamin) of Hattiesburg, Todd Franklin (Kathy) of Batesville, and Chris Franklin (Amy) also of Batesville; 4 grandchildren, Nicole Moore, Cody Alford, Victoria Locke, and John Forrest Franklin; and 5 great grandchildren, Kylee Moore, Ryder Moore, Myles Moore, Weston Goodwin, and Ivy Locke.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 prior to the service. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Batesville. Rev. Clay Baker and Rev. Doug Pepper will officiate.
