Lucinda Jane Jones, 69, of rural Patoka passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019 at the River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton. She was born December 26, 1949 in Evansville, to the late Ray and Anna Lou (Kolb) Hofman.

She had lived in rural Patoka since 1970 moving there from Ft. Branch. She was the Farm Manager for Five Star J. Farms Inc. She was a graduate of Ft. Branch High School and was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Princeton. She enjoyed raising and showing sheep and was a member of the United Suffolk Sheep Association and was recently inducted into their Hall of Fame. She was the Sheep Superintendent at the Gibson County Fair for many years. She loved spending time with family and especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Jones of Patoka; 2 daughters, Rachel Thompson (Jay) Patoka and Autumn Taylor (Tyrone) of Patoka; son Mitchell Jones (Karen Shearer) of Patoka; brother, Phil Hofman (Cindy) of Princeton; sister, Becky Flack (Doug) of Tennessee; 5 grandchildren, Jacinda Hughen (Matt), Raelynn Thompson (Adam), Rhett Thompson, Avery Jones-Taylor, and Ailie Dean Taylor; several special cousins including, Karen, Beverly and Kathy Jane.

Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, March 14, 2019 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Pastor Brad Keenan officiating. Burial will follow in the Decker Cemetery in Patoka. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home
