Ms. Absher was born in North Wilkesboro, NC to the late Gar Ivory Absher and Jean Taylor Absher. She was an alumnus of Southern Wesleyan University and worked as the school program manager for Marvin’s Produce. Jennifer enjoyed reading, shopping, sewing and decorating.
Surviving are her long-time companion, Marion Kirby; a sister, Angie Stewart and husband Charles; two nieces, Carrie Stewart and Shelby Livingston and husband Stephen; two great-nephews, Briceson Crawford and Dylan Stewart; and her beloved Keeshounds Josie and Pearl.
