Lena Martin, 86, of Cross Lanes, was called home to be with our Lord and Savior on March 9, 2019. She was retired from Young’s Department Store. During the last 4 years she attended several days a week at KVSS, she was also a member of Charleston Mountain Mission and sang in the Daily Broadcast Choir. Her hobbies were gardening, crocheting and needle point. Lena was preceded in death by her parents Victor and Helen Lawrence Aguilera; husband Leonard Martin Jr. and daughter Patsy Reed. She is survived by; Daughter Linda Martin of Cross Lanes; Grandson John L. Reed; Granddaughter Sara (Jason) Peltier of Bristol, VA; Great grandsons Salem and Kaelin Reed of Leon, WV ; Austin (Cheyenne) Peltier of Asheville, NC; Garret Peltier of Bristol, VA and Great Great Granddaughter Addalyn Peltier of Asheville, NC. Services will be held on Wednesday, March 13th, 2019 at 12:00 PM at Tyler Mountain Funeral Home, Cross Lanes, WV. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Entombment will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.
