Mrs. Bonnie Ruth Tucker, age 90 of Summerville, Georgia passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019 at her residence.
Mrs. Tucker was born in Chattoogaville, Georgia on January 28, 1929, daughter of the late Robert Paul Copeland and Ola Bartlett Copeland. She was member of the North Summerville Baptist Church and prior to retirement, was employed with Century Glove Mill. She loved to Cook, Garden, and Sew, but her favorite past time was loving on her kids and grandkids. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Tucker was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Hoyt Tucker; son, Gary Lynn Tucker; sisters, Jewell McCollum and Maggie Thomas; and a brother, Robert Copeland.
Mrs. Tucker is survived by 2 daughters, Carolyn Tucker and Dawn Tucker; special daughter, Patricia Smith; grandchildren, Joey and Carla Jennings, Misty and Russ Blackwell, Renita and Josh Bullard, Molly Hughes and Greg Hewitt and Jake and Samantha Walker; great grandchildren, Amber Anderson (Sid McGill), Jayden Blackwell, Tucker Blackwell, Tessa Jennings, Bailey Patterson, Elizabeth Walker, Luke Walker, Lynlee Walker, Ashley Rosser, Chasiti Rosser, Chloe Rosser, Kenzie Rosser, Maddie Rosser, Lane Reeves, Waylon Reynolds, Ava Owens, Mayzee Owens and Rhett Hewitt; great-great grandchildren, Tanner McGill and Addy Barnes; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Tucker will be held Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Bro. Russ Blackwell officiating. Entombment will follow in the Green Hills Memory Gardens with Bro. Josh Bullard officiating.
Pallbearers will be Joey Jennings, Fred Hardin, Jake Walker, Sid McGill, Josh Bullard and Jim Brooks. Honorary Pallbearers will be Special Friends, Leric and Jaunita Reynolds and Joey and Phyllis Faircloth; Members of the North Summerville Baptist Church, and nieces and nephews.
