James H. Harmon, age 97, of Dayton, passed away January 13, 2022 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born on November 10, 1924 to the late Lettie Mae (Roney) and Alvah Harmon in Winchester, Kentucky. James was a self-employed Carpenter for 50 years and was a Member of the Carpenters Local Union.

He is survived by his daughters: Donna (Paul) Chase, Jamie (Gary) Keller, grandchildren: Jimmy (Rene) Chase, Matthew (Sharon) Keller, Shannon (Dennis) Prikkel, Jason (Patti) Brown, Maggie (Tommy) Skinner, Kimberly (Paul) Leber, 10 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who he leaves to cherish his memory. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his wife: Edna (Bratton) Harmon, daughter: Shirley Harmon Brown, siblings: Helen, L.C., Laurabelle, Anna Jean, sister-in-law: Virginia, and brother-in-law: Roy Jr.

A Visitation and Service will be held for James at a later date at Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd. Englewood, Ohio 45322). Burial will take place at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
