Johnny Neal, son of the late Thomas and Cora Lee Neal, was born in Henderson, Rusk County, Texas March 6,1950. He attended the Henderson public schools and at an early age, he accepted Jesus as his savior at Fredonia Baptist Church. Later in his life, he united with and remained faithful to Mt Hebron Baptist Church on November 26, 2006 under Rev. Jerry C. Williams, now under Rev. Tony Zinnah until decline of his health.
Johnny was employed with Henderson Art and Tile for over 25 years and was a huge impact to the community when it came to mechanical or household needs. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Monnie Earl and Jimmy Doris Neal; two sisters, Laura Brown and Ether Bell Neal.
