Son of Chester A Huber & Mildred E Tile. Jim was orphaned age 2. He grew up in Sioux, Woodbury, Iowa USA. He attended HS for 1 year and joined the Military. He was captured by the Japanese soon after 7-16-1941 HIROHATA (OSAKA) Japan where he remained until 9-4-1945. He arrived 9-20-1945 at Fitzsimons Army Gen Hosp Denver to recover from POW Camp where he meet his wife Martha Dye. They married and had 2 daughters. Marilyn Kay Huber-Garcia #19744808 & Marie Huber
