Nelle Riding Callister Sorensen, 92, passed away June 4, 2007 in Enoch, UT surrounded by her children. Born May 24, 1915 in Abraham, UT to Jobe Hall and Cathrine Steele Riding. Attended schools at Delta, UT graduating in 1933. Married Leland C. Callister on Feb. 19, 1936 in the Salt Lake Temple. Later divorced. Mom spent her life making a "Home" full of love and had unwavering devotion to her children and later grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she considered to be her greatest treasures. On Dec. 16 1985 she married Bert Sorensen in the Provo Temple, and lived the rest of her life in St. George. Was a faithful member of the LDS church, serving in many capacities. Will be remembered for her sense of humor, youthful spirit, unconditional love, and for her ever listening ear. The proud mother of eight children: Maurine Grizzle, Tom, Gary, Scott, Duane Callister and Cathy Pace. Stepchildren: Ethelyn Hardy and John Sorensen. Preceded in death by husband: Bert; infant daughter: Nancy Lee Callister; daughter: Carolyn Callister Bishop. Funeral Services: Thursday, June 7 at 11 a.m., at the Delta, UT LDS Stake Center, 72 North Center St. Viewing prior to service, 9:30-10:45 a.m. Burial Delta Cemetery.
