Janet Lynn Wilkerson, 55, of Benton dies Monday, October 19, 2009 at her home.
She was born in Chicago, IL on July 15, 1954, the daughter of Maurice and Jewell Anthony.
Janet was a LPN. She was a member of First Baptist Church, where she had served as Deacon.
She is survived by her husband: Keith Wilkerson of Benton; daughter: Crystal (Takacs) Charlet of Benton; son: Joshua Takacs & wife Teela of Princeton, IN; the light of her life were her grandchildren: Alysah Lynn Charlet & Trysta Ken Charlet; Janet also has 2 sisters: Linda Burns of Vista, CA and Kathy Lambert of Lexington, KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 22, 2009 at the Morton & Johnston Funeral Home in Benton with Pastor Charles Klassen Officiating.
Burial will be in the Masonic & Oddfellows Cemetery in Benton. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at the funeral home.
