Karla Ann Lachmann, went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 13, 2014 . Karla was born on March 16, 1958 in Pontiac, Michigan to Kenneth Lachmann and Wilma Brandenburg Lachmann.
Her early years were spent in Farmington, Michigan and she moved with her family to Albuquerque in 1967.
Karla graduated from Eldorado High School and Eastern New Mexico University. Karla was employed by Presbyterian Hospital in the real estate division. Karla was interested in drama and volunteered with Albuquerque Little Theatre and later worked in puppet ministry.
Karla was a devout Christian and was a member of Washed by the Word Church, where she had many loyal friends. Karla completed ministry training at Calvary Chapel, Albuquerque and in England. Karla went on missionary trips to Russia, Africa, South America and Australia.
Karla is survived by her parents, Kenneth and Wilma, her brother, Pete and his wife, Lisa and their sons, PJ and Jeremy, her sister ,Heidi, a large extended family and her dear friends, Robyn, Doug, Aaron, Lorin and Drew Bentley.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Washed By the Word Church, 4228 Carlisle Blvd., Albuquerque, NM.
