Loretta A. Sharp, age 83, of McKeesport passed away on February 10, 2017. Born November 10, 1933 in McKeesport she was the daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth ( Tomkowitz) Sharp. Loretta worked at the Thurman Candy Company, U.S. Steel, and Shop-N-Save in the meat department. She loved her animals and enjoyed watching cooking shows. Loretta is survived by her sister Marcella S. of New Stanton and brother Frank (Ruth Fey) S. of Tucson AZ and many nieces, nephews, great and also great great nieces and nephews. Loretta is preceded in death by brothers; Edwin and Edmund Sharp, brother in law Walter Szymarek, and sister in law Marie Sharp.
Family and friends will be received at the Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Wednesday February 15, 2017 from 9am until the time of service at 11am in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at St. Mary Polish. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the White Oak Animal Safe Haven at 2295 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131.
