Denise, 75, of St. Petersburg, died Tuesday, September 13, 2005, at the Apollo Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Detroit, Mich., she came here in 1999 from her native Detroit. She was a cashier for the Sanders Co. in Detroit for 23 years. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Daughters of the Nile Elim Temple 76, Tampa, the Eureka Chapter 5
OES, St. Petersburg, the Southeastern Historical Society of the United Methodist Church, Camp Farthest Out of the World Association, a life member of the American Youth Hostels, and an active volunteer at the Tampa Performing Arts Center and the International Museum in St. Petersburg. She is survived by her caregiver, Gale Morris, Tampa, and several Cousins.
