Memorial services were held Saturday morning in Wiggins for A.W. Alexander, 83, of Wiggins, who died Saturday at Stone County Hospital following a lengthy illness.

The Rev. Gary Breland officiated. Mr. Alexander's body was donated to medical science.

A veteran of WWs I and II, Mr. Alexander was a retired millwright.

Survivors Include three sisters, Mrs. Ruby Ethridge of Hattiesburg, Miss Annie Alexander of Perkinston and Mrs. Helen Landon of Wiggins; one niece, Miss Sidney Alexander of Wiggins; and one nephew, Michael Alexander of Wiggins.

Moore Funeral Home was In charge of arrangements.
