Linda Dickerson, 73, of Davenport; passed away surrounded by her loving family, peacefully on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Genesis East Medical Center. To honor Linda’s wishes, no public visitation or services will be held. The family plans to have a private celebration of life at a later date.

Linda was born January 29, 1945; the daughter of Walter and Kathlyn (Dorman) Dittman, in Ottumwa, IA. She was a 1963 graduate of Muscatine High School. After graduating high school, Linda attended Muscatine Community College then Northeast Missouri State Teacher’s College. She went on to work for the Davenport Community School District as a para professional educator for 22 years.

She enjoyed playing cards, cooking and spending time with family. She was known for her smile and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 49 years, Gary; her daughter, Jennifer (Michael) Wheeler and her beloved grandchildren: Brandon, Alison and Carter Wheeler. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents and a special aunt.

She will be missed dearly!
