Virginia Lane Reding Howard

Virginia Howard of Irving passed away March 8, 2019. She was born August 23, 1928 in Aubrey, Texas to Stonewall Jackson Reding and Willie Margaret (Wilkerson) Reding.

She was a member of Plymouth Park Baptist Church in Irving where she was active in her Joy Sunday School Class. She enjoyed traveling with her church group especially the trips to Branson and she traveled as far as Alaska with the group. She also enjoyed spending time with family and watching figure skating. Virginia taught Business and Typing with the Irving Independent School District and retired after 34 years of service in 1989 teaching 21 years at MacArthur High School.

Preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Joseph Howard in 1995; daughter, Carol Lynne Howard in 2017 and brothers, Kenneth “Chunk” Reding and Bill Reding.

Survived by her son, Larry Howard, brother, Jack Reding, sister, Nathia Summers, grand children, great-grand children and other extended family members.

Internment at Restland Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
