Mrs. Evans was born in McHenry, Miss., but had made Perkinston her home since marriage. She was a member of the Wiggins Methodist Church.
Her survivors are her husband, Guy H. Evans of Perkinston; one daughter, Miss Jerry Evans of Perkinston; two sons, Edward Evans of Perkinston and Charles G. Evans of Perkinston; two sisters, Mrs. Polk Evans and Miss Ina V. Beverly of Perkinston; one brother, Junior Beverly of Baltimore, Maryland; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held from the Wiggins Methodist Church on Saturday at 3 pm. Soft Organ music was rendered by Mrs. Charles Davis. The Rev. Aubrey Walley officiated at the services assisted by the Rev. L. E. Havens Jr.
Pallbearers were: A. J. Alexander, Harold White, Cliff Taylor, M. M. Baker, Randal Dedeaux and Curtis Davis.
Interment was in the Perkinston Cemetery with Dees Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
