Ryan Scott Young, a former resident of Kenosha, and living in Las Vegas, Nev., passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on May 15, 2017, after suffering a brain aneurysm.

Ryan was born in Kenosha on July 5, 1979, the beloved son of Denise (Blazewicz) Moczulewski and Scott Allen Young. He was preceded in death by his father Scott in 2010. He attended schools in Kenosha and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School in 1997. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Parkside with a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Ryan was a joy to his family and friends with his brilliant sense of humor and his beautiful smile lit up a room. He made us laugh for 37 years. He thought the only failure was not taking a chance and trying new and different experiences, whether it was the many sports he participated in or the different places where he chose to live and work. His biggest asset was his kindness and love for all people and animals, especially dogs.

Ryan will be missed by his parents, Edward and Denise Moczulewski; brothers, Jason Young, Zion, Ill., and Shannon Young, Las Vegas, Nev.; sister-in laws, Tracie Poisl Young and Britney Cooley; nieces, Madison, Bryanna, Addison Grace and Olivia; nephew, Brayden; paternal aunt Kimberly Young; maternal aunt, Sandra Strom; uncles Daniel Blazewicz of Racine, David Blazewicz of Texas; and many cousins around the country on both sides of his family.

He was preceded in death by his father; paternal grandparents, Vernon and Grace Young; and maternal grandparents, Edwin and Lorraine Blazewicz.

A private inurnment will take place in Kenosha and a Celebration of Life will be held on July 5, 2017, for family and friends of Ryan.
