"The friends and relatives of Mrs. Ethel West were made sad Friday to hear of her death at Iola, Friday morning. She had been at the home of her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Bus Ramsey , the past few weeks where she had been taken with the hopes that the change would help her. She had been in poor health the past few years and not able to leave her bed for about 6 months. She leaves to mourn their loss her husband, Glee West, one son, Herbert, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bus Ramsey, three brothers and one sister, her aged grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Stainbrook, who had been so faithful in helping to care for her in her long illness also many mare relatives and friends. Her funeral was preached at Unity church Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial was made n the Hatch cemetery. The family have the sympathy of their many."
