Lyle Edwin Ferguson, 78, died Tuesday, July 20, 1999 at a Sioux City Care Center.
He was born August 26, 1920 in Bloomfield, Nebraska.
He married Vivian Engle on November 22, 1941 in Fremont, Nebraska. He worked as a custodian at schools Yankton. His wife died on November 29, 1990. He then moved to Centerville. He moved to South Sioux City, Nebraska in 1997.
Survivors include two sons; Bayrd of Sioux City; and Loren of South Sioux City; three daughters, Patricia Wilen of Sioux City, Pamela Went of South Sioux City, and Sandra Peterson of Tea; a brother, Vern of Lincoln; a amateur Marcella Morefeld of Osmond, Nebraska; nine grandchildren; two step grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Services begin at 11 am. Friday at Becker-Hunt Funeral Home in South Sioux City with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home with the family present from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
