Raymond Henry 70 of Brinkley, died Thursday. A son of A.A. and Natalie Henry, he was born November 11, 1948 in Clarendon. He and Billie Sue were married in 1969 and for the past number of years have made their home in the Fargo community. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cotton Plant and also served as a volunteer with the Fire Department.

Raymond spent many years working as a section foreman for the Cotton Belt Railroad and then branched out be a full time driver for the Mason Brothers Farm. Through the years he and Billie operated several business in Brinkley including the “Smoke House BBQ” and “Backwater Junction”, which offered various supplies to local outdoors man.

He was preceded in death by his father, infant son, Alvin Henry, and one brother, Irvin Henry.
