Cassandra M. Portis Jackson (Kate)-- born October 1, 1975 departed this life on March 24, 2006 at a local medical facility. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Portis. She leaves to cherish her memories a mother, Annie Portis Johnson; three brothers, Jacky Portis, James Portis and Darrell Portis all of Mobile, AL; and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Saturday, April 1, 2006 at First Baptist Church of Carver Homes, 664 Whitney St. Mobile, AL at 9 am until the 11 am funeral hour. Rev. Anthony Shute officiating. Interment in OakLawn Cemetery. Lovett's Funeral Chapel directing.
