Madeline Acosta Trabeaux, a loving mother and grandmother, she will be missed by all who knew her. She was a retired school bus driver for West Baton Rouge Parish school system. She passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2007, in New Roads. She was 86, a resident of West Baton Rouge Parish and a native of Plaquemine.

Visitation at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Lakeland, on Friday, April 13, from 10 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Greg Daigle, celebrant. Interment in Chenal Cemetery Park.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hartman Trabeaux; parents, Theodora R. and Anthony Acosta; two sisters, Bertha A. Cole and Evelyn A. Roche; and two brothers, Anthony Sidney Acosta and Morris Acosta. She is survived by a brother, Robert Acosta of Pascagoula, Miss.; a sister, Margie Hill of Groverton, Texas; children, Clement and Gail T. Guidroz of Chenal, Toni T. Major of Nashua, N.H., Hartman "Hottie" and Jane L. Trabeaux of Arbroth, and Dalbert and Juanita "Colleen" T. Guidroz of Baton Rouge; grandchildren, Doug and Stacy C. Barron, Jason Cline, Troy and Kathryn Bonaventure, Randy and Kelly Bonaventure, Lonnie and Tracy Major, David and Debbie T. McWethy, Pete Trabeaux, Brad Trabeaux, Maggie Guidroz and Mallory Guidroz; and great-grandchildren, Madeline and Emily Barron, Julia, Savannah, Riley and Madison Bonaventure, Conner and Ariana Major and Erin and Gavin McWethy.

May she rest peacefully now that she is home. Arrangements by Wilbert Funeral Home, Port Allen.
