Lisa Ann Harris, 56, of Gassaway peacefully passed away and victoriously went to be with the Lord on March 7, 2019.
She was born November 17, 1962 in Germany to Ruby Lockard of Gassaway and the late James E. Lockard.
Lisa was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker. She enjoyed crafting, sewing and making blankets. She loved her Indian heritage and she also collected Indian dolls. When she was in high school she was a majorette. She was also involved as a volunteer softball and little league baseball coach. Lisa loved her border collie dogs, Poncho, Clay and the late Cookie.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, David Eugene Harris; sons, Nathan Harris (Molly), DJ Johnson (Emily); daughters Nihja Hardway (Roy) , Leah Nicholson (Eric); sister, Brandie Lockard; grandchildren, Logan Harris, Noah Harris, Merci Harris, Dalton Hardway, Liam McCumbers, Edwin McCumbers, Sophia McCumbers, Waylon McCumbers, Steven Chapman, Erica Nicholson, Abram Johnson, and Emma Johnson.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway with Pastor Doug Smailes officiating. Interment will be in the Sugar Creek Cemetery, Gassaway.
