Hazel Ann Riley, 11 months old daughter of Kayla Riley, passed on from this earth unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 5, 2019.

Hazel was the perfect baby, always happy, had the most beautiful smile, and infectious laugh and always on the go. Her big beautiful eyes were always watching and she loved playing ball and liked being outdoors when the weather was nice.

Besides her mother Hazel is survived by her maternal grandparents; Theresa (Rodney) Ewers of Mount Vernon and Dale (Karen Snider) Riley of Newark; maternal great grandmother, Pam (Cornel) Plebani and Sandy Riley; cousins, Laini Kuehner, Avery Kuehner, Riley Pilotti, Kelcy Pilotti, Morgan Pilotti and Emberly Fowler; aunts and uncles, Kim (Adam) Dudgeon of Newark, Laura Riley and Scott Riley; and her canine protectors Maddie and Apollo.

Hazel was preceded in death by her maternal great grandparents, Bill “Buzz” Thompson, Joyce Thompson, Larry Riley and Denny Foster.

The family will observe a private burial in Mound View Cemetery. The Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home is handling services for the family of Hazel Ann Riley.
