Funeral services for Ms. Sylvia Gordon will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2019, at the Rush Chapel, Oakdale, with Reverend Dennis LaFleur officiating. Interment will follow in Oakhill Cemetery, Oakdale, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Ms. Gordon, 64, of Oakdale, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at her residence in Oakdale, LA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Pete Gordon Sr. and Anne Gordon.
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include one son, Jason Richmond and his wife, Kimberly, of Scurry, TX; six brothers, Colin Gordon and his wife Sheila, of Huntsville, AL, Roy Gordon and his wife Sandra, of Oakdale, Pete Gordon, Jr., of Alexandria, Ray Gordon, of Glenmora, Tony Gordon and his wife Cindy, of Glenmora, Gary Wayne Gordon, of Glenmora; one sister, Shirley Ann Ware, of Oakdale; four grandchildren, Daniel Roland, Maegan Richmond, Destinee Crandall and Ryder Richmond; two great grandchildren, Anzleigh Roland and Greysen Roland.
